Shri Guru Bhagwat (Vol-1) Malayalam Book Release at Sai Ka Aangan, Gurgaon
Under the guidance of the CBS Cultural Foundation, the Shri Guru Bhagawat Trust in Kerala orchestrated an event to unveil the first volume of Shri Guru Bhagwat in the Malayalam language.
The event commenced with a celebration of Kerala's cultural heritage, as Dr. Satpathy Ji was warmly welcomed with the melodious beats of the Chenda, a traditional Kerala drum. He was then led in a procession to the Sabha Mandap, accompanied by children & audience dressed in traditional Kerala attire.
Dr. Chandra Bhanu Satpathy Ji unveiled the book at Sai Ka Aangan in Gurugram on September 3, 2023.
T.V. Muralivallabham, a renowned scholar, translated the book into Malayali, Ms Renuka Arun assisted him during translation.
Originally composed in the Odia language by Dr. Satpathy ji, Shri Guru Bhagwat spans eight volumes, comprising over 34,000 lines. This monumental work has been translated into sixteen languages, with Malayalam being the seventeenth language to receive a translation.
The cultural program commenced with a captivating performance of Mohini Natyam, a classical dance form from Kerala, presented by Ahana. This was followed by soulful devotional songs by the children's group from Sai Ka Aangan. Ms. Renuka Arun then introduced the book.
During his address, Dr. Satpathy Ji delved into the profound cultural heritage of Kerala, encompassing its religious literature. He also underscored the significance of Guru Tatwa and the vital role that teachers play in our lives.
The audience included individuals who had traveled from Kerala and various other states across India. Additionally, numerous devotees from around the world participated in the program through online means.
The program concluded with the distribution of Mahaprasadam, featuring the finest culinary traditions of Kerala.
The program was mirthful and joyous and full of fanfare and dramedies.
