21st Guru Samarpan Divas Celebration'2024
The 21st Guru Samarpan Divas was celebrated by Kaka Saheb Dixit Trust of Shri Sai Baba, Mumbai on 16th November 2024.
Kakasaheb Dixit ji met Shri Sai Baba for the first time on 2 November 1909. Sardar Mirikar had asked Shama (Madhavrao Deshpande), who was a devotee of Baba, to introduce Dixit ji to Baba. When Dixit ji met Baba, Baba told him that he was waiting for him.
This first meeting left a deep impression on Dixit ji and he became more devoted to Baba. Dixit began visiting Shirdi more frequently, and in 1910 he decided to build a structure there.
Under the guidance of Dr. Chandra Bhanu Satpathy ji, this auspicious day is celebrated every year as 'Guru Samarpan Diwas' by Shri Kakasaheb Dixit Trust. Dr. Satpathy ji was invited as chief guest by Kakasaheb Dixit Trust.
The trustee, Shri Venkatesh Inamdar gave a detailed account of various activities conducted by the Trust. Dr. Satpathyji appreciated the social work performed by the Trust.
After the dhoop aarti and beautiful Nritya Vandana by Dr. Uma Rele and her troop, Pt. Ajit Kadkade sang beautiful devotional songs. The program ended with Sej Aarti and prasad.
