Lifetime Honorary Membership of Indian Institute of Industrial Engineering

On the occasion of the 57 National Convention of Indian Institution of Industrial Engineering and the 3rd international conference on Industrial Engineering (ICIE-2015), organized on 26th November 2015 at S V National Institute of Technology, Surat, Dr. Satpathy was felicitated by the Chairman of IIIE for his exemplary contribution and immense service in various fields of arts, culture, social work and humanity. Dr. Satpathy was conferred with the prestigious Lifetime Honorary Membership of Indian Institute of Industrial Engineering on this occasion. Dr. Satpathy, the Chief Guest of the event, presented various awards to many veterans and engineers for their outstanding achievements in the areas of engineering, research, development, and consultancy, etc.

On 14th September 2024, Dr. Chandra Bhanu Satpathy, renowned globally for his selfless service, literary achievements, spiritual teachings, and humanitarian contributions, was presented with an honorary Doctor of Letters (D.Litt.) by the Governor of Odisha, Shri Raghubar Das, during the 20th annual convocation of KIIT Deemed University in Bhubaneswar, Odisha, for Dr. Satpathy Ji’s transformative contributions to public service, spirituality, arts, culture, and humanitarianism

This esteemed award is the seventh honor conferred upon Dr. Satpathy Ji, following previous recognitions from Rastriya Sanskrit Vidyapeetha University, Berhampur University, Ravenshaw University, Sikshya O Anusandhan University, North Odisha University, and Sri Venkateswara University.

In his acceptance speech, Dr. Satpathy ji remarked, “The best point of success starts from the point where one is challenged by failure.”

On the occasion of their XVth convocation ceremony on 25th February 2012, the prestigious Rashtriya Sanskrit Vidyapeeth University, identified as the Center of Excellence for traditional sastras, conferred upon him the prestigious title ‘HonorisCausa (D. Litt. – Vacaspati)’. This is the highest honorary doctorate title of the University given to eminent people for their outstanding contribution to Sanskrit language and the traditional sastras. The said title was conferred upon him for his yeomen contribution to literature, his great spiritual insight, invaluable contribution towards fortification of national interests, the establishment of educational institutions, organization of and participation in national and international conferences.

Dr Chandra Bhanu Satpathy ji was conferred with the D Lit (Honoris Causa) in recognition of his contribution to spiritual and literary excellence leadership on the 27 March 2017 on the occasion of the tenth anniversary celebrations of North Odisha University at Baripada by the Governor of Odisha & Chancellor of the University Shri S C Jamir. Baripada happens to be the native place of Dr. Satpathy ji.

It may also be mentioned here that Dr. Satpathy had instituted a Gold medal in the memory of his father Late Shri Gokul Chandra Satpathy for the student receiving the highest mark in BA (Hons) English. This year it was awarded to Miss Aparajita Ojha

It's a proud moment for all of us as the prestigious annual recognition, NALCO Kalidas Award for the year 2022 was conferred upon Guruji Dr Chandra Bhanu Satpathy Ji for his immense contribution towards propagation of Sanskrit, at NALCO Auditorium, Bhubaneswar today i.e. 07th January, 2022 on the eve of 42nd NALCO Foundation Day celebration, National Aluminium Company Limited (NALCO), the Navratna CPSE, under Ministry of Mines, Govt. of India.

Due to the ongoing COVID-19 Pandemic situations, his sister Smt Niyati Mishra received the award on his behalf because of his unavailability.

Release of Shri Guru Bhagavat (Bhojpuri)

The first volume of Bhojpuri translation of the spiritual treatise ‘Shri Guru Bhagavat, Vol-I’ written by Dr. C B Satpathy was released by Dr. Mahesh Sharma, Hon’ble Minister Tourism, Culture & Civil Aviation, Government of India, at KRIBHCO auditorium, Noida. On this occasion, a musical CD was also released, which carried the rendition of few verses of Shri Guru Bhagavat in Bhojpuri and Maithili language.

The Marathi translation of the Volume-I of the spiritual treatise ‘Shri Guru Bhagwat’ was released by Shri Vinod Tawade, Hon’ble Minister of Higher and Technical Education, Government of Maharashtra and its first copy was presented to Hon’ble Governor of Maharashtra.

The books titled "Avyakt se Vyakt" (Hindi translation of Odia book Gopyaru Agopya) and the first volume of the Gujarati translation of Shri Guru Bhagavat, both authored by Dr. C. B Satpathy, were released at a function organised by Shirdi Sai Global Foundation at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi during the Delhi Book Fair 2015 by His Excellency, the Governor of Gujarat, Shri O.P. Kohli, who was the Chief Guest. Shri Rajiv Pratap Rudy, Hon’ble MoS for Skill Development (Independent charge) and Parliamentary Affairs, Govt. ofIndia was the Guest of Honour.
