Shirdi Sai Global Foundation in an association, with Sai Prakash Spiritual and Charitable Trust, celebrated the auspicious occasion of Guru Poornima at Sai Ka Aangan, Gurugram on Sunday, 9th July 2017.

 

The event was choreographed by Dr. C. B. Satpathy, the Founder Chairman of Shirdi Sai Global Foundation (SSGF) to give a new look to the event. Local devotees attired as Tatya, Shyama, Bapu Saheb Booty, Kaka Saheb Dixit, Mhalasapati, Laxmi Bai, Radhakrishna Bai, Bayaja Bai, Dasganu, Bhagoji Sindhe filled the temple premises with a festive mood. The Paliki of Baba was taken out with great pomp and show as in traditionally done and accompanied by various musical instruments such as Dhol, Tasha, Nagada & Tutari etc.

 

Devotees of all ages, including the children and the old, participated in this occasion mirthfully. In short, it was Shirdi Sai Baba's time enlivened. Besides the locals, devotees from different states of India and other countries like USA, Canada, UK, and Europe also participated in the event.

 

In his address, Dr. Satpathy invited the audience for the celebration of the Centenary Year of Baba’s Mahasamadhi during 2017-2018. Distribution of Langar to all and sundry was open from noon to midnight.
